a sound wave and a electromagnetic wave are two different waves that are seen daily, a sound wave is responsible for the travel of sound that uses a medium, but a electromagnetic wave is responsible for travel of light or radio waves. a result comes to that it changes in the electric and magnetic field.

A cochlear implant is something that is supposed to substitute the inner ear although it is not like hearing aids. The cochlear implant would do exactly what the inner ear would do and send signals to the brain. This is device is a benefit to alot of people because it helps people who have hearing loss in both or one ear and for the people that find hearing aids to be no help.
