INTRODUCTION -
A wave is the way energy moves form one place to another. waves are everywhere including a television , a radio, cell phones and sound waves. There are different types of waves, such as Sound wave, a Light wave, a Mobile Phone wave and Water waves. Waves come from particles, in a wave of energy both the particle and the wave move, this happens because when the particle is vibrating it also moves the wave as-well. Waves are described as an energy mobile because it can move and transport energy from one place to another just like that. There are only two types of energy waves and those are a Compression/Longitudinal and a Transverse energy wave. A transverse wave is a particle that moves up and down whilst the wave are moving left to right but a longitudinal wave is a particle that moves left to right while hitting other particles. Perpendicular means a straight angle that is based at 90 Degrees, A medium is a materiel thought which the waves travel through, Parallel means something that exactly the same just mirrored and a wave length is a distance that is between two like parts of a wave. a frequency of a wave is the rate that the waves occur. Amplitude means a height of a wave. What does amplitude determine for sound and light waves?
In sound waves, amplitude determines the larger the sound the better the higher the amplitude will be.
In light waves, amplitude determines how bright the light wave is.
